The future will be…arriving shortly

The future of AI, AGI and all things in between is an exciting one, and it’s hard not to get swept up in all the hype. But, before we start talking about robots taking over the world and being destroyed by a malicious internet-enabled toaster, let’s talk about some of the ways that AI is (probably) going to positively impact humanity over the next 10–20 years.

First and foremost, AI IS going to revolutionise healthcare. From diagnostics to drug development, AI is going to make healthcare more efficient, accurate, and personalized. Imagine a world where your doctor can analyse your DNA and give you personalised recommendations for your diet and exercise routine. Or a world where your medicines are tailored to your specific genetic makeup. This is the future of medicine, and it’s just around the corner.

AI is also going to make transportation safer and more efficient. Self-driving cars are already a reality, and they’re only going to get better with the advancements in the field of ML/DL and IoT/Detection.
