So, it’s been a while and to be honest, I should take my own medicine but here's something I have learned over the past few weeks…

TL;DR: Commit, ya big baby, and execute more.

Ah, personal goals. They’re like that ex you keep going back to, even though you know deep down it’s not going to work out and it’s probably very toxic for ya! But you know, setting and hitting goals, especially personal ones is so very important, despite the occasional disappointment and broken promises. It’s like trying to assemble IKEA furniture — it’s frustrating, and you may end up with a few extra screws, but the sense of accomplishment when you finally get that thing standing upright, on its own is unparalleled. So, grab your annoying little z-shaped fallen key thing that they give you and let’s dive into the world of personal goal power, where planning, perseverance, and a healthy dose of humour can take you from daydreamer to doer.

Now, personal goals are important for a lot of reasons, and not just because they make you feel productive when you’re really just binge-watching Netflix. Setting and achieving personal goals can help you grow as a person, provide direction and give you a sense of accomplishment. Plus, you get to use fancy planners and highlighters or cool GTD apps, and who doesn’t love that?
